School starts.

Busy, busy, busy. That we are. Dougie is in his second week of first grade. He's slowly adjusting to the fact that he has to be in school and has adopted the attitude of what everyone figures out about school. That would be "I hate it," "Why can't I just play all day instead." Well that was the first week. This week he's getting into the routine a little better and life seems to be going as expected. Hopefully it will get better for him, he's always been the type that loves to learn. Yes, I know he doesn't get that from me.

Nobody informed me that I had to have Daxton on a year and half waiting list for pre-school. So, I haven't gotten him in, I'm still looking and hopefully I will be able to put his transformer backpack that he absolutely had to have to use. Let me tell you that it was very cute seeing Daxton with a big backpack strapped to his back walking through the store. That was how determined he was to have that backpack. He even had it packed the first day that school started for Dougie. Let me just say it's probably not a good idea to put six bananas in a backpack and forget about them.

Connor really shown that terrible two's suck. I mean it. Tantrums being thrown in stores until other people give in and hand him a sucker just to shut him up. It gets a little old. However he's come up with something that I would have never thought up. It's a struggle just to get him to hold your hand walking into a store, that now he holds his own hand, and he's very serious about this. Doesn't need to hold anybody elses just his own. Last week he tried to convince me that he was a baby and then an hour later try to convince me he's a really big boy. However I really shouldn't complain, he's not giving drivers near heart attacks by running out of the store and into the road this week.

Well it's the beginning of the year, we will just have to wait and see what this year holds for us.

Okay so I should have probably crossed over to the losing my insanity side. However I have managed to stay in my semi-crazy mind. As you can tell the boys have been working hard this time. Especially the two year old. Fortunately for us, we're not the only ones seeing the true colors of the boys shinning through.

We went and visited a new little cute nephew, and seeing my cute little niece. The boys went swiming and visited with relatives. The boys where taken to the zoo, where they had a great time. They where then taken to the kids discovery place. most of all we spent many, and I do mean many hours of driving. I'm glad to say that Grandma, Grandpa, and Cassie have survived that trip.

Dougie is getting ready for another year of school. He loves to rub it into his brother's faces that this time he will be gone all day. He does seem to be excited so I'm taking it as a good sign. He is making sure he get's in every minute of playing time with his friends. He get's so busy playing that he has to either take his lunch on the run or forgets about eating until bedtime arrives.

Daxton is still running around on his broken toe. It doesn't seem to bug him, but it still a long battle to try and keep him from doing any more damage. I learned on this last trip that Daxton doesn't need a movie to watch or even to be kept entertained. He does that all on his own. Cassie and I where kept quit entertained by him. Who would have guessed that a six hour drive wouldn't really effect him and his way of entertaining himself via "Boo world." I like to call it that where he seems to be able to tell you story after story or even have his own little battles waging as we drove down the road.

Now I come to Connor. I never thought that I would make it through Dougie and Daxton, but now I think I'm in more trouble than I realized. Connor has always been our little baby, little did we know that he was watching and learning and taking everything in. Now he's a Dougie and Daxton all in one. At the zoo, Connor made friends with a bat eared fox. Cute right, them running back and fourth separated by glass. Yeah stuff like that is what you think about a two year old doing the cute stuff. However I didn't think it was so cute of him when he decided to start a riot in nursery with twelve other little kids. It's pretty bad when you've been assigned the nursery and you have to haul out your own two year old to give to his father. Let's just say there was Connor running other kids over with the little riding thing when no one was looking. Connor at one point was using chairs as derby crash cars. By the end he was on top of a table running back and fourth with the other little boys cheering him on. He had all the other kids pick up on this that we had toys being thrown and children wrestling. As soon as he was taken out things calmed down. Like I said he's been watching.

Hopefully I will be able to stay on top of this. So far I think I'm on the losing end.
